The Director of DTC Marketing will be responsible for the management of our webstore and all performance-driven marketing programs. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder and CEO, this role will work hand-in-hand to develop budgets, as well as identify revenue and KPI targets. This individual will need to be strategic, systematic, and relentless – she/he will be responsible for developing strategies and attribution models, reporting on weekly and monthly performance, and executing projects to improve overall channel performance against KPIs (e.g., CPA, AOV, LTV, etc.).
What you will be responsible for doing:
Achieving monthly DTC revenue and acquisition targets
Developing monthly/quarterly strategy and deploying budgets for all performance-driven marketing programs
Establishing and tracking channel-specific KPI targets and attribution
Managing our webstore to optimize conversion and deliver a premium user experience
Merchandising on-site product offerings (pack size, price, bundles) to optimize against KPIs
Utilizing data to identify, size, and prioritize opportunities for improvement against KPIs
Managing day-to-day workflow and special projects to improve KPIs
Note: Scope of special projects to extend throughout entirety of marketing efforts, from positioning and acquisition through conversion and retention
Who -- the ideal candidate is:
An experienced (5+ years) marketer in e-commerce / consumer brands, preferably at a <20 person start-up
Analytically-minded and dexterous with numbers and data, and ultimately able to translate data analysis to actionable business insights
Brand-conscious and consumer empathetic – needs to “get” the brand and customer
Effective with both written and verbal communications
Ambitious, resourceful, and highly determined (ability and desire to knock down walls while executing projects)

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving our growth and revenue through paid acquisition. Specifically, this individual will plan, design, execute, and optimize our digital advertising campaigns across any/all channels, including paid social, search, podcasts, and beyond. This individual will need to be strategic, systematic, and creative – she/he will be responsible for developing strategies and attribution models, reporting on weekly and monthly performance, and managing A/B tests to improve performance against KPIs, including CPA, ROAS, etc.
What you will be responsible for doing:
Developing daily/weekly/monthly strategies and deploying budgets for all performance-driven digital marketing programs, especially Facebook and Google AdWords/Ads
Executing and optimizing all digital advertising programs to achieve targets and KPIs
Building and maintaining an attribution model to understand customer value and behavior across channels, and ultimately inform strategy
Creating experimentation and testing plans for new advertising channels
Collaborating with creative, product development, and customer support teams to ensure cohesive, consistent, and timely ad copy
Note: Potential to increase scope of responsibilities should candidate prove capable
Who -- the ideal candidate is:
Experienced (3+ years) in DTC / e-commerce growth marketing and advertising for an agency or start-up with a track-record of scaling budgets beyond $1K+ / day in spend
Capable of handing all facets of advertising and acquisition as a one woman/man team
Analytically-minded and dexterous with numbers and data, and ultimately able to translate data analysis to actionable business insights
Creative in how she/he thinks about strategy, testing, and potential new sources of growth
Individually effective and able to deliver with little oversight / direction
Brand-conscious and consumer empathetic – needs to “get” the brand and customer
Ambitious, resourceful, and highly determined (ability and desire to knock down walls while executing projects)

Ideal candidates are well-spoken and outgoing, able to explain the nutritional benefits of the beverage as well as our brand values to influencers and potential consumers in an energetic, engaging way. Must have a driver's license and regular access to a car.
What you will do:
Set up and break down at local events and studios
Conduct product demos/samplings
Be our local "face of the brand"
Speak clearly to the product, ingredients, brand values
Commit to samplings and events 1-3 weeks in advance
